Launch Your Own Creative Business- Training Programme for Entrepreneurs

Are you a creative entrepreneur with a business idea or a start-up that has been running for less than two years? Do you want to gain the skills and knowledge to take your business to the next level? Apply now.

The British Council is bringing Nesta’s Train the Entrepreneur programme to Egypt. The programme has been developed for creative entrepreneurs from any sector – film, music, design, fashion, media, publishing and more, to enable you to explore your idea and its commercial viability, whilst helping you develop the skills to set up and run a creative enterprise.

The programme puts YOU in control. You have the opportunity to learn how to create a business that truly reflects your own enthusiasm, passion and values and network with like-minded entrepreneurs in the Egyptian creative sector.

By the end of the four-day programme, you will leave with the confidence to drive your business forward. You will explore the relationships you and your business need to survive and come away with practical tools and techniques to get over the difficulties and challenges of setting up a business and maintaining it.

This programme is delivered through a partnership between the British Council and the International Association for Creation and Training (I-act), who facilitated the Arabic translation of the Nesta toolkit with support from the British Council in Egypt, and is kindly hosted by the Swedish Institute in Alexandria. The programme is part of the training strand of the 3rd edition of the Backstreet Festival ‘The Joy Project’ and will include an event to launch the Arabic version of the Nesta toolkit ‘Launching your own creative business’, which has helped over 500 creative entrepreneurs around the world to turn their creative ideas into viable and successful businesses.
