The Climate Action for University Ambassadors is a platform led by the British Council where climate experts and representatives discuss raising awareness in the environmental field championing voices from Ghana, Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
The course aims to train and equip researchers and academics from Egypt and wider Africa, with the required English skills they need to understand key concepts related to climate issues and to confidently engage in discussions on climate related topics.
For our climate ambassadors it all comes down to education and collective action.
Climate education will help us plant and grow not only future action plan leaders but also the fabric of a future society that is responsible and climate aware.
This can only be achieved by working collectively towards an inclusive action plan for it is only by working together we can make a lasting change.
