What are the 'Ask Hala' webinars
The 'Ask Hala' webinars series is part of the Teacher Networking Initiative and designed to help English language teachers acquire the skills, knowledge and understanding to deliver effective and engaging lessons for learners of English. The webinars are delivered by Hala Ahmed, Academic Manger at the British Council in Cairo, and are drawn from Hala’s substantial experience in supporting teachers and teacher educators in the Middle East and North Africa region.
In its first series of eight webinars, Hala focussed specifically on online teaching skills. If you missed any of the previous webinars or you are new to the Teacher Networking Initiative, you can read more about them and watch their recordings through this page.
In this next series of webinars, Hala will focus on both online and blended delivery.
The programme
We have a very exciting programme for you, based on suggestions from our participating network of teachers from across the Middle East and North Africa. Webinars take place on the last Thursday of every month at 4:00 PM (Cairo time). Registration is easy – just fill in our registration form, and we will send you joining instructions, log in details and our interactive activities 48 hours ahead of each session.
