British Council Egypt is pleased to offer five days of contemporary dance workshop within the framework of SEEDS- A Contemporary Dance Educational Action to Egypt.
SEEDS is an initiative held by the Arts Center of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina working in partnership with the British Council, Egypt, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Egypt. It aims at fostering contemporary dance access for all by providing an extensive contemporary Dance Teachers Training added to a large dance educational activity towards the civil society, children and youth conceived as part of the practical fieldwork of the vocational skills training program SEEDS.
The dancer, choreographer and teacher,Dalia El Abd along with the dancer Mohamed Sayed, will run these five days workshops.
The workshops is addressed to adult beginners aged from 21 years old and up, who would like to be initiated in foundations of contemporary dance in order to acquire tools for further development of their personal dance practice.
The workshop is limited to 12 participants and is free of charge.
Registration is obligatory based on a first come first served basis.
