Your lives, in your community, for the world to see!

Are you a creative, original thinker who wants to connect to the rest of the world?

This is your chance to work with your school-friends to make a short film to show ‘your world’ to students from all over the world!

This competition is for students who take UK qualifications such as the IGCSE, O level and A level through the British Council

To participate you need to be between 14 and 17 and you should work in groups of three to five.

The theme for this year is ‘Building a brighter future’. Your short live action video or animated style video should highlight an issue for a defined community and suggest positive actions that people can take to bring about long term and sustainable change for the benefit of that community. This could be in your country, town or city, your school or a group of people large or small.

The video should focus on one of the following areas:

  • Sustainable living
  • Resilient communities

The winner at country level will then go to the regional finals to decide global winners. All students who take part in the competition will receive a Certificate of Participation.
