Step 1: Receive information for the forthcoming examinations session

If you are a British Council attached centre, you should receive a series of emails from the British Council with all examinations session details, including: 

  • Registration dates and fees
  • Key dates and timetables 
  • Access arrangements
  • Examinations venues
  • Instructions to candidates

Step 2: Submit your school entries

If you are a British Council attached centre, you are responsible for entering your students for school exams. 

This step consists of:

  • Sending estimated entries for your school
  • Making and confirming final entries 
  • Sending any amendments or late entries 

WHEN TO REGISTER

Find out about the different examination boards’ registration deadlines. 

Submit your entries well in advance of the closing date so you have time to check them and submit any amendments before the deadline, avoiding any late entry fees.

 

Step 3: Make payment

Schools must pay any invoices received before the end of each registration period. 

Schools can pay via a bank deposit or bank transfer to the British Councill in Egyptian pounds using the following bank details:

HSBC Bank

Branch: Zamalek, Cairo

Swift code: EBBKEGCX

Account name: The British Council

Account number: 001-200112-001 (Egyptian pounds only)

 

Send your stamped bank deposit slip to the British Council Examinations Officer in charge.

Please note: your candidates' applications will not be processed until payment has been received.

Step 4: Registration complete

You have now successfully registered for school exams with the British Council.

You will receive your candidates' Statements of Entry' and information about examination venues approximately three weeks before their exams.
