An education partner you can trust, supporting a global community of schools.

British Council Partner Schools is a community of over 2,000 schools delivering UK international qualifications. It’s a community that’s genuinely global: our Partner Schools can be found in South and East Asia, the Middle East, North and sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and South America.

We support Partner Schools by providing a secure, compliant and consistent exams delivery service, dedicated account management support, and professional development and training opportunities for teachers and school leaders. Our aim is to provide expert operational and educational support for our Partner Schools at every opportunity, and at every level – making a difference to young lives in local communities, across the world.

If your school would like to teach UK international qualifications through the British Council, you can apply to be a Partner School.

Who do we support?

The British Council Partner Schools community is a network of educators across the world, including leaders of forward-thinking schools with an international outlook, and teachers committed to a modern, student-centred approach to teaching. Ours is a community that extends beyond the classroom. We also support parents and carers who want to improve the life chances of their children, as well as internationally-minded students keen to connect with other young people around the world.

How do we support school leaders and teachers?

When you become a Partner School, our local teams will provide specialist support by delivering exams and providing dedicated account management services. Partner Schools also benefit from our extensive professional development programme, online and in-person training resources. Our exclusive networking events and forums connect educators from all around the world – creating opportunities for you to share knowledge and learning experiences with like-minded peers across the world.

How do we support your students?

Our work with universities around the world ensures that your students can apply to and attend their preferred university – giving them and their families confidence in their choice of qualification. We also help protect and develop students through our safeguarding and online safety resources. These resources are available to all Partner Schools, while our extra-curricular activities and global competitions could help your students develop new skills outside the classroom.
