On Thursday 18 April 2019, Habiba, Yasmine and Kenzy won first place at the Taqaddam final competition in Alexandria when they created natural, healthy and plastic-free soap bars to help reduce consumptioon of single-use plastic.
The three girls participated in surveys and assessments to build an accurate picture of their ‘leading’ character strengths; how they perceive intelligence, which personal qualities are most important, and the extent to which they feel they can positively impact their own lives, their school and their community.
Taqaddam enhanced the three girls’ life skills, so they can find their passion, enter the work place fully skilled and up to date, and taught them the 21st century skills they need to become productive, effective and confident.
