As part of the Active Citizens programme, the British Council awards a grant for the purposes of a community initiative implementation (National Social Action Project) to organisations and people around the world who are working to make a difference in their communities. It provides them with tools and assistance to develop cross cultural engagement skills and to run social action projects in their local area or internationally.
The British Council in Egypt together with local civil society partners aim at to promote advocacy and awareness of global and local issues by mobilizing youth to make a difference in their community.
