On the course you will: 

Be taught in small class sizes (a maximum of 10 candidates per group).

We have two installment plans for our customers who have NBE cards and candidates can choose one:

  • 6-month installment plan (no interest)
  • 12-month installments plan (with interest)

Candidates will have to use the NBE card to pay for the course if they would like to choose one of the installment options.

Am I eligible to apply?

You must:

  1. be at least 20 years old when the course begins
  2. have a competence in written and spoken English – the University of Cambridge defines this as a good C1 level on the Common European Framework.   
  3. have a standard of education that allows entry to higher education in your country.

Course content:

Our 30-hour extensive course consists of 4 modules. The modules include a mixture of input sessions, micro teaching, peer observations, CELTA like feedback and reflection sessions, and a final mock interview and individual feedback with the tutors.

  1. Module 1 (3.5 hours): Introduction to CELTA and ESL/EFL teaching. 
  2. Module 2 (10 hours and 45 minutes): Developing fluency and classroom management
  3. Module 3 (11 hours and 45 minutes): Language teaching. 
  4. Module 4 (4 hours): Teaching receptive skills and tutor feedback.
