The collective first engaged with the British Council in 2022 through the artistic development program [Digital] Transmissions. During this collaboration, they connected with artists in the UK, expanding their knowledge and finding new ways to inspire change within Jordan’s artistic community.

In 2023, MetaFour took on a leadership role in the second edition of [Digital] Transmissions. They gained hands-on experience in curating and producing art exhibitions, overseeing everything from artist selection to installation and administration.

Armed with new skills and insights, MetaFour have dedicated themselves to connecting art with communities in Jordan. They are sharing their knowledge with local artists, to foster a more inclusive and collaborative art movement and inspire new generations of Jordanian artists.

Looking to the future, MetaFour plans to broaden their collective’s scope, incorporating a wider range of artistic disciplines and engaging with creatives globally. They want to grow understanding and appreciation of art in Jordan and encourage deeper collaboration among local artists, all while continuing their mission to strengthen the cultural ties between art and communities.
